Ved, you have not been keeping well for last couple of days, so, I have been working from home. This has been pretty lean time for me as I do not have much work to do. So, I am trying to write to you to catch up on last 3 years.
I do not really know much about our ancestors beyond your great grandfather. However, Papa remembers a lot and in fact, he has written about it. Here is what Papa has told me.
In summary, The picture below has all of our immediate family staring from your great grand father and up to your generation. This picture is missing Simran (Guddi's my younger sister's second daughter).You haven't yet met Guddi and her kids but you did meet the rest. May be we will make a trip to South Africa to see Guddi and her kids.. who knows.. will see..
Suman Bhaiya and family was here with us during last summer vacation and you enjoyed Kunnu and Sweety's company a lot. We are hoping that Sukant Bhaiya's and Neelam Di's families will also visit us in Bangalore soon.
Anyway, so back to our family tree: your great grandparents lived in a village called Billouti. That is where Papa also lived till 1974 when he got a job in Bokaro steel Plant and moved there. I was born in that same year. We (all brothers and sisters) lived in Billouti till 1978-79 I think. All of us were brought up in Bokaro and studied there. In fact, we all got married in Bokaro.
As of today, Papa and Ma live in Bokaro. There were here with us for about an year and then went back. Suman Bhaiya and his family lives in Bhillai where he is teaching in DPS. Sukanth Bhaiya and his family is living in Dhanbad. Neelam Didi and her family are living in Bokaro, very close to Papa's place. Lastly, Guddi and her family is in Johannesburg, SA. They are on a business trip and will probably be back in Delhi in next 1 year.
Today all of us live in different parts of this world.
